I've come a long way since I moved out to LA with my 4-light ARRI tungsten kit back in August 2016.

I shared the same dream as so many other creatives, to work on the big hollywood movies. I wanted to move people on as broad a scale as possible, the same way I was moved by the movies I watched while growing up.

I fell in love with lighting during a 1-week summer intensive course while earning my M.S. (4.0 baby) at Kutztown University. It was there that I learned, albeit briefly, how to shape and control light, and to give it color and depth.

After working as a producer for a couple years for a local production house, and then moving on to be a creative director at a growing advertising agency that I finally decided to dive fully into the art of lighting.

Moving out to LA with 0 contacts was a huge risk, but I believe with a great attitute and work ethic, and a touch of skill, you can go just about anywhere you want to go in the industry. And I would say most people are eager to lend a helping hand to help you get there.

This website is my attempt to organize my creative portfolio with my equipment portfolio in a way that presents myself as an artist and entrepreneur. Hooray me.

Much love and gratitude,
